Sanchez could have been killed, fumes Wenger
Arsene Wenger has hit out at Ryan Bennett, claiming the Norwich defender “could have killed” Alex Sanchez last weekend.

“He could’ve killed him”.
Bennett appeared to push Sanchez, who later sustained a hamstring injury which has sidelined him for around four weeks, into the Carrow Road advertising hoardings whilst the Chilean was in mid-air.
“It is absolutely risky to have a camera there”. That injury can come from that as well.
“If you want to blame me with the injuries, I have no problem with it”.
Bennett, 25, apologised for the incident after the 1-1 draw, insisting on Twitter that he had been trying to stop himself, rather than shove the Arsenal player.
“I tested him before it and said, ‘If you have the slightest muscle problem tell me, I don’t play you.’ He said he had no problem at all, the tests were all positive”.
Arsene Wenger hasn’t ruled out the possibility of losing Santi Cazorla for the rest of this season after the Spaniard damaged knee ligaments against Norwich on Sunday. “It is always really important because the games come thick and fast, and if you have a good Christmas, it can really start your new year off well”, Oxlade-Chamberlain said.
Arsenal are back in second, two points behind Leicester, and Wenger said: “It’s very tight”.
“I don’t know”, he added.
Wenger could welcome centre-back Laurent Koscielny into his matchday squad for Saturday’s visit of Sunderland but will be without the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin. He was real. I love people who do not have conventional paths and who stand out due to their talent. Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce has warned his players they are in a marathon and not a sprint as they attempt to drag themselves clear of relegation trouble.

“Mathematically lots of teams can win it, realistically five or six”.
