Sanchez dropped after training ground incident
The Premier League outfit have lost four of their last six games in all competitions and manager Arsene Wenger is under increased pressure to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.

Massmiliano Allegri has once again rubbished rumours linking him with a managerial move to Arsenal.
Wenger described his relationship with Sanchez as “honest and normal, like with every single player”.
The defeat, at the onset of another crucial week for Arsenal with Bayern Munich poised to end their latest Champions League odyssey, is bound only to raise further questions over Wenger’s decision-making among his ever-more vociferous band of critics.
“I want to forget but I’m not able to forget”, he said of those previous losses.
Wenger said reports of a training ground row between Sanchez and his team-mates are also “completely false”.
“The season before we won the league, the majority of the players went through that tough time and came through, so we all know what we need to do and I think we’ve started to do it”, said Simpson, as quoted by the Daily Mirror. “We have to accept that”. We wanted to play two players who are strong in the air.
The Chilean global was introduced at half time with the visitors trailing 2-0, and while he showed the difference he makes nearly immediately with an assist for Danny Welbeck’s strike, by then the damage was done and Arsenal slumped to a defeat.
Arsène Wenger claimed the decision to leave Alexis Sánchez out of his starting lineup at Anfield was in order to facilitate a more direct approach, before accepting the gamble did not work. “Let’s go Gunners. The only failure is not trying”.
Wenger tried to fix his mistake in the second half, inserting Alexis, and it paid off immediately with the Chilean setting up an Arsenal goal not even 10 minutes after he came on. A lot could still happen with 12 matches left but I think they face a real challenge finishing in the top four.
Sanchez is heading for the exit at the Emirates after a huge bust-up over the direction the club is headed.

Arsenal have decided that Alexis Sanchez will NOT be sold to another Premier League club. But Wenger was sticking to his script of sorts, and tried to make sense to everyone who said that dropping Alexis was nonsense. Sanchez took a full part in Arsenal’s training session yesterday before the game.
