Sanchez Flores: Adebayor asked to train with Wa

The 31-year-old Togo worldwide striker is looking for somewhere to work on his fitness after he was released from his contract at White Hart Lane earlier this month. “And maybe other big names”.

Watford say that they have turned down the opportunity to allow Emmanuel Adebayor to train with the club after his release from Tottenham Hotspur.

‘We have said to him all the best for the future, you never know what may happen in the future, one day maybe we will train together.

Flores on Friday confirmed he did not want Adebayor training with his squad as he cannot be registered to play alongside them, but when the transfer window re-opens in the new year he could make a move for the player.

“You never know if we will sign him in January, maybe it is possible”, said boss Quique Flores.

Newly promoted Vicarage Road side Watford are keen on signing free agent Emmanuel Adebayor according to the Daily Express.

However, Watford aren’t interested in that, meaning that Adebayor must keep offering himself to clubs in a bid to maintain his fitness – and Aston Villa should be a team considering that offer.
