Backing draw/Arsenal in the half time/ full time market offers generous odds of [5.0] well worth a bet.

Arsenal started the season by losing 4-3 at home to Liverpool, then drew 0-0 at Leicester.

They visibly exhausted after the interval and Watford pulled a goal back as club-record signing Roberto Pereyra scored a debut goal, but the hosts could not find a way to set up a grandstand finish. Janmaat’s cross was for from the greatest but it led to a game of pinball in the Arsenal box before Pereyra finally exerted some authority with a controlled finish from 10 yards.

The signing of defender Rob Holding from Bolton in July was hardly the glamour acquisition that supporters had been craving. At least when you eaves drop a group of two or three people talking, football will be mentioned whether criticizing how our national team Harambee stars is poorly performing with our dramatic local premier league that leaves every Kenyan wondering.

“Now Mesut is almost there, not completely, but he just goes [away] again”. But today, he will likely stick to the same XI who had played against Chelsea last week. However, it’s evident that he has the ability and confidence to grow in to a solid defender. That’s a big “if” though, as several players are still getting used to roles that are new for them in Mazzarri’s tactics – if they show any shakiness at all, Arsenal’s talent might be enough to win the day. Unfortunately he was sidelined with severe ligament damage following a 1-1 draw with Norwich in November of 2015.

“The first half was all Arsenal but the second half was all for us”. A September 2011 report estimated Arsenal’s fan base at 100 million worldwide, still making them the third-largest team in terms of supporters.

The Gunners took control of the ball early and tried to get Sanchez involved as much as possible, while Watford threatened on the counter and with high crosses coming from the wings. Cazorla finished the match with an impressive 92 percent pass completion rate.

An exquisite curling cross from Ozil picked out Sanchez inside the area.

Probably the most encouraging thing to take from the victory was a sense of ruthlessness so often absent from Arsenal in recent years.

The deadlock was broken after just eight minutes with Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla putting the Gunners 1-0 up from the penalty spot.

It was all too easy as Sanchez, wide on the left, was given time to pick out the unchecked run of Ozil, who powered home a bullet header. And Wenger said Xhaka is already showing his qualities as a deep-lying playmaker. He made a number of long-range passes with precise accuracy and put in a top-notch defensive performance.

Watford had much more possession and pulled a goal back – were we going to have the usual nail-biting Arsenal style last few minutes? – not really.

“We have bought two players – Mustafi and Perez”.
