Sanchez out for one month
According to The Guardian, Cazorla is set for a lengthy spell out after the Spain worldwide suffered a knee ligament injury during Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Norwich City in the Premier League. His cumulative workload for both club and country would lead to him needing a rest recognised Wenger ahead of the trip to Carrow Road. He was brought in by Arsenal for his expertise later that summer.

Arsenal are expected to formally confirm the injury on Thursday, with Wenger now nearly certain to be forced into the January transfer market in search of a central midfielder of comparable quality.
Their thinning squad has seen the Gunners struggle in their last two league games, falling to defeat at West Brom and only managing a point against Norwich. “The worrying thing was that it got worse”, Wenger said after the game. It is a very sensitive subject and a very complicated one that we try to work out. I’m not a coach, I don’t know how it is with all the pressure of players – I know I was a pain in the neck when you take me out in the game.
Sanchez, therefore, would make an outstanding replacement for any one of the three if they should indeed leave the Bernabeu, and he certainly fits the bill as a Galactico-style player.
Aaron Ramsey, who has only recently returned from a month out himself, and veteran Mathieu Flamini could be Arsenal’s midfield pairing for the festive period in which they play seven times in 28 days. However, the injury is not serious and the Gunners hope Koscielny will be back in training by the end of the week. Despite all the tests he looked alright.

Sanchez could now be out for up to a month after he featured in the match, but Keown insists Wenger can’t be blamed for his decision to play him.
