It looks like both candidates are willing.

In the same day, Sanders’ campaign provoked Donald Trump by saying that they hope the Republican nominee does not “chicken out” from the debate after informally agreeing to a match-up, despite the presumptive GOP front-runner saying he’d “love to debate Bernie”.
Tonight’s visit by Sanders was a celebration for both men, having made headlines last night when Sanders planted a question on Kimmel’s show, directed at that night’s guest: Trump.
Trump, who has bragged about his debate prowess, is preparing for a fall campaign against Hillary Clinton.
In a subsequent tweet he added, “I am delighted that @realDonaldTrump has agreed to debate”.
Sanders’ campaign manager told CNN Thursday Sanders is looking forward to meeting Trump on the debate stage.
The Vermont lawmaker needled Clinton over her campaign’s decision to decline another debate before the California primary.
Trump reportedly called the chairman of the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation Monday night to inform him the whole amount would be given to his charity.
Donald Trump has now clinched enough delegates to become the Republican nominee. Bernie Sanders in California, ahead of that state’s presidential primaries.
“Let me tell Mr. Trump: I really do appreciate his concern for me”.
“I’d debate him anyway if they want to put up the money”, he shrugged.
Sanders mapped out what he believes is a path to winning the Democratic presidential nomination.
Including superdelegates who’ve pledged their support, Clinton is 74 delegates away from securing the nomination, which she should easily pick up in the six contests on June 7.
“See whether or not Trump knows anything about any of the issues that Bernie’s been talking about”, Johnston said.
Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs said the idea was no joke.
But some Democrats worry his supporters – who are largely young, working-class and disillusioned with the Democratic Party establishment – will turn instead to political neophyte Trump, who has championed a populist agenda.
Dale Ranney, 62, a Trump volunteer who has been to 21 of his rallies, said she would be delighted to see Trump and Sanders debate.

“The event would “get high ratings” and “should be in a big arena somewhere”, Trump said, continuing, “we could have a lot of fun with it”. Hillary Clinton has not agreed to debate me in California so I look forward to debating Trump”, Sanders said.
