Sanders and Clinton Commit to Different New York Debate Dates

With his support continuing to grow, the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination is far from over.

Sanders told ABC News on Sunday that he thinks he is the strongest candidate to defeat the Republican nominee, adding Clinton is getting “very nervous”.

“‘GMA” offered a debate during “GMA’ on Friday the 15th”.

This is the newest tussle in a Democratic primary that has been plagued by debate drama. The event will be held in Brooklyn, which is a home to both candidates. The two Democrats are now trying to settle on a date for a New York City debate. Sanders agreed, on the condition that Clinton would participate in subsequent debates, which was acceptable to Clinton. A Clinton campaign official initially warned that Clinton would only consider debating Sanders in NY if he changes his “tone”. Another date suggested by the Clinton campaign was rejected yet again, due to the date falling on the N.C.A.A. men’s basketball finals.
