Sanders asks Utah to join his ‘revolution’
A firm delegate lead in hand, Clinton looked past Sanders ahead of Tuesday’s contests and instead sharpened her general election attacks on Trump.

Trump tops the enthusiasm race as well, with 40 percent saying they would be enthusiastic about a Trump candidacy compared with 28 percent who would be that excited about Cruz and 19 percent about Kasich. Both parties tout elections like that of comedian Al Franken to the US Senate in 2008 as showing the impact of absentee and expat votes: Franken beat out his Republican opponent with the help of absentee ballots. The Vermont senator, now trailing Clinton by more than 300 pledged delegates, has targeted Tuesday’s races as the start of a comeback tour.
When Democratic frontrunner Clinton is matched up against the Republican candidates, she does best against Trump. If Cruz fails to exceed 50 per cent, the delegates would be awarded proportionally based on each candidate’s vote total.
National support for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders has remained virtually unchanged since last week despite her decisive sweep of North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Illinois and Missouri in last week’s primaries. Six in 10 Democrats have a favorable opinion of Clinton; just about half of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Trump. Murray said he would prefer Clinton to Trump, because then the GOP wouldn’t be blamed for Trump’s mistakes.
Anti-Trump Republicans are running out of time to prevent the billionaire businessman from securing the 1,237 delegates needed to claim the nomination. It hasn’t gone for a Republican candidate since Ronald Reagan in 1984.
Trump has made Arizona a focus of his campaign since last summer, when a massive Phoenix rally showed his strength among party grassroots voters, much to the dismay of the traditional party leaders.
SANDERS: Well, to say to a superdelegate, Bernie Sanders won your state by 20 or 30 points, you might want to listen to your state, I think that that is common sense and I think superdelegates should do that.
For some Bernie Sanders supporters, voting for the establishment-backed Democrat is nearly as unpalatable as voting for a Republican. Clinton runs even with Cruz and trails Kasich by 6 points.
“We talked about what was at stake and we are in danger of losing our democracy as fewer and fewer people are making more and more decisions”, Jane said. That’s different than most other polling on the race.
“If she didn’t talk about me, her ratings would go down like a rock”, Trump said.
