Sanders calls Clinton’s Wall Street remarks ‘silly’ and ‘absurd’
He argued Mrs. Clinton hadn’t offered any concrete plans despite making paid family medical leave a cornerstone of her campaign. “We bring out millions of young people, working-class people in the political process, and we sweep those people out of office”. “He is the foremost expert in our country on the minimum wage and what its effects are, and the overall message is that it doesn’t result in job loss”, said Mrs. Clinton, who attributed her hesitancy to the lack of global comparisons, heeding the advice of Mr. Kreuger.

According to the debate transcript posted online by the Washington Post, Sanders said, “It is not a radical idea to say that if somebody works 40 hours a week, that person should not be living in poverty”. It’s also been one of Sanders’ largest contributors over his careers.
Under Sanders’ proposal, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program would be absorbed by the new “single-payer” system and be run by the states under federal rules.
And Sanders campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, said that Republican governors might be less a problem if Sanders is the Democratic nominee.
“I represented NY, and I represented NY on 9/11, when we were attacked”, she began, likely already raising a few eyebrows in the audience.
“She’s the only candidate on that stage that doesn’t believe the banks have become too big to jail, too big to fail, and too big to manage – shouldn’t be continually out there for us to bail out with our tax dollars”, he continued.
“The truth is Hillary Clinton and all of us in Congress did everything that we could to rebuild NY City after the devastating attack but that has nothing to do with the question of the impact of Wall Street campaign contributions and her views on Wall Street”.
November 16, 2015 (EIRNS)-Hillary Clinton is being roundly pummelled in both the Democratic Party and the press today, for confirming that she is Wall Street’s candidate, by her ridiculous (and revealing) statements-made during the November 14 Democratic Party Debate-that Wall Street is showering her with cash because she helped them “rebuild” after the 9/11 terror attacks! A third Democratic candidate, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, has been forced to shift staff from his Baltimore headquarters to Iowa and other early states as he struggles to raise money.
Gillibrand’s bill would increase the payroll taxes for workers and companies by 0.2%, or about $1.38 a week for the median wage earner. Clinton supports 12 weeks of paid leave but has not yet indicated how she would pay for her plan. “I don’t think we’re at war with all Muslims”, the former secretary of state said.
The Service Employees worldwide Union (SEIU) announced their endorsement of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign today, coming by way of a vote by their executive board. “More people would get better care at less cost”, Briggs said.
