U.S. Democratic presidential candidates clashed over health care, gun control and the fight against ISIL in their third televised debate on Saturday night (December 19).
Sanders’ campaign has successfully turned grassroots energy into a sizable war chest, announcing last week that it had received 2 million contributions – a milestone only matched by President Barack Obama in his re-election campaign.
It was recently revealed that Sanders’ campaign stole valuable voter information belonging to Clinton. Mr Sanders has since fired his campaign’s data director and two others.
“Well, my sense – and you guys know this better, because you are residents of New Hampshire, where every individual voter matters – is that the decision-making window is just starting to open up here”, he said.
Clinton also criticized controversial and outspoken Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump for being the “best recruiter” for the Islamic State jihadist group with his anti-immigrant comments and his proposal to deny US entry to all Muslims, albeit temporarily.
Palmieri said on ABC’s “This Week”, “She didn’t have a particular video in mind, but he is being used in social media”.
“I don’t think we should be imposing big new programs that are going to raise middle-class families’ taxes”, the former secretary of state said.
“It’s very clear that we have a distinct difference between those of us on this stage tonight and all of our Republican counterparts”, she said. If elected, Sanders would be the oldest USA president ever, Clinton would be the 2nd oldest if she’s elected.
But, the first question thrown their way addressed a flare-up between the Sanders and Clinton campaigns and the Democratic National Committee.
“ISIL videos, ISIL training videos are telling lone wolves the easiest way to buy a combat assault weapon in America is at a gun show”, said O’Malley, who accused his rivals of “flip-flopping” on the issue. In contrast, Clinton insisted both goals should be pursued in tandem. “For crying out loud, our country has been attacked, we have pressing issues involving how we’re going to adapt to this changing era of warfare”. Clinton struck back, reminding Sanders that he “voted for regime change” in Libya.
The clock is ticking on the presidential hopes of Martin O’Malley.
For months, the Democratic primary contest has been a relatively civil affair – offering a tone that party leaders see as a much-needed contrast to the raucous Republican field.
O’Malley has tried to present himself as a fresh face and to play up his outside-Washington credentials. “Sanders’ data”, Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said in a statement. “May I offer a different generation’s perspective on this?” She is 25 points ahead of Sanders in one poll.

Understanding that Trump is accusing Clinton of something that he himself is often culpable of, let us take a look at any basis for her comment and what it could mean for her campaign.
