Sanders: Clinton team thinks race ‘is over’ … ‘They’re wrong’

The Vermont senator formally joined the Democratic Party a year ago, after serving decades in Congress as a self-identified democratic socialist.

Cruz was supposed to campaign alongside his wife Heidi and running mate Carly Fiorina at a pancake restaurant Tuesday as voters were set to vote in the state’s crucial primary. “You know, I’ll give anybody a tax credit if they will bring a plant, if they will employ people, if they’ll be part of the manufacturing economy”.

Trump ran up the score on Cruz with the help of men and his outsider appeal. Watch how many IN delegates Trump scoops up on Tuesday night: If he claims a big share of the 57 delegates at stake, he’ll only need 42 percent of remaining delegates to clinch the nomination and crush Cruz’ hopes for a contested convention.

Trump also was supported by most GOP voters who say they’re angry about the way the federal government is working.

Just after NBC announced Trump’s projected victory, the NY real estate magnate tweeted out an insult aimed at Cruz.

Sanders said in the interview that he would be the best-positioned Democrat to take on Republican Donald Trump, who is now the likely Republican nominee after Texas Sen. If Sanders wins at least 64.4 percent of the votes in the Western states, he’ll be neck-and-neck with Clinton (he’s already won more than 64 percent of the vote in other Western states).

“When we started this campaign, we were 60 points behind Secretary Clinton in national polls”, he said.

Bing, the major search engine of Microsoft, yesterday predicted that at the end of the Republican primary process in California on June 7, Trump would have 1,366 delegates, 125 more than the 1,237 needed to become the presidential nominee of his party.

“The people that are with Bernie Sanders, the young people, I really believe they’re going to come over and vote for me”. Cruz – as well as Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who trails significantly in the delegate count – must try to block Trump in IN and the handful of other remaining states to push the race toward a contested convention. Only about half of Indiana GOP voters are excited or even optimistic about any of the remaining Republican candidates becoming president.

“They’re finished. They’re gone”.

IN is home to 167,000 Latino eligible voters, and while not all of the electorate will turnout on Tuesday, the IN primary will still play a crucial role IN Ted Cruz’s presidential aspirations. At one point during a governor’s race, former California governor, Hollywood star and Kasich supporter Arnold Schwarzenegger advised Kaisch to ‘love the beatings.’ That, the adviser said, just how Kasich approaches the race.

While an overwhelming majority of Sanders’ supporters want their candidate to stay in the race through the Democratic convention in July, opinions were divided among Clinton’s supporters.

More than half of Republicans feel betrayed by leaders of their own party.
