Sanders continues to gain ground on Clinton nationally

It seems that supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders have given their response to Hillary Clinton’s newest line of attack.
The poll also showed that respondents favored Clinton as the candidate most likely to beat out Republican frontrunner Donald Trump, with Clinton leading over Sanders 44% – 16%.
More worrying for the former Secretary of State, however, is the fact that the Vermont senator’s 27 percent lead is the highest ever recorded by him since the start of the campaign, according to the stats provided by RealClear Politics.
American Crossroads, which Rove helped to found, has paid for an ad in Iowa that supports the Sanders claim that Clinton is too cozy with Wall Street, and Sanders has now incorporated the meat of the Rove claims in his stump speech, she said. National and state polls were considered in the forecasts.
“Today, the inevitable candidate doesn’t look so inevitable as she did eight months ago”, Sanders marveled Tuesday in Iowa. He is ahead, and by some polls far ahead, in New Hampshire. Twice as many said jobs and the economy were more important.
It’s just one poll, but it’s consistent with what we know about the intra-party bases of the two Democrats. That’s improved since December, when 83% had a positive take on the neighboring state’s senator.
Still, it’ll be a tough road for Sanders, even in Maine: Clinton has been endorsed by top Democrats, including U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, Attorney General Janet Mills, House Speaker Mark Eves and Senate Minority Leader Justin Alfond.
A clear victor in the race to win the Democratic presidential nomination is looking less evident as Vermont Sen.

Clinton opened her first appearance since the poll by focusing on her own personal struggles and ability to bounce back from tough times. The margin of error is +/- 5.2 percent.
