The former secretary of state and Sanders have tangled over gun violence since last month’s first Democratic debate.

On the issue of Mrs. Clinton’s emails, Mr. Sanders didn’t say he regretted his debate remarks. “I think that will have a significant impact because a lot of people especially in Iowa who don’t know who I am or what I stand for”, Sanders said.
When Kimmel asked Clinton about her past friendship with Donald Trump and the nice things he said of her prior to the campaign, Clinton pointed out that he is not the first Republican to speak well of her.
Seventy-one percent of those surveyed – and 80 percent of black likely voters – said they were leaning toward voting for the former Secretary of State. This is because he is just not yet well-known in the community, Sanders said.
Trying to rekindle doubts about Clinton’s transparency is the latest attempt by Sanders – who vowed not to run a negative campaign against his Democratic rivals – to blunt the resurgent Clinton.
Sanders regularly downplays the issue as one that doesn’t rise to the level of raising wages, climate change and education reform, but doesn’t dismiss the email investigation entirely.
But then Hillary repaid Bernie’s favor by calling him a sexist for criticizing her, and that seems to have cured his sickness.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released this week shows that 53 percent of all voters rate Clinton poorly when it comes to her being honest and straightforward, with 42 percent-a plurality-scoring her very poorly in this category.
