Sanders endorses Clinton, and his hardcore supporters are feeling Berned
“Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process”, Sanders declared on Tuesday in a joint appearance in the U.S. state of New Hampshire.

Clinton welcomed Sanders’ support: “Thank you for your lifetime of fighting injustice”, she said, “I’m proud to be fighting behind you…it’s a time for all of us to stand together”.
After an often bitter campaign, Sanders said he will do everything he can to make Clinton “the next president” of the US. “That’s what democracy is about”, said Mr Sanders.
Lou Agre, a Sanders delegate from Philadelphia, called the Democrats’ platform, which Sanders had a significant hand in crafting “the most progressive platform in our party’s history”.
“We’re going to hear from Hillary Clinton – the obligations that we have as senators to carry forward on a program that is not dominated by Trump”, said Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, of Nevada.
Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign said Sanders “is now officially part of a rigged system”.
But he admitted that his opponent is “far and away the best candidate” for the top job and to succeed Barack Obama in the 8 November election expected to be against property tycoon Donald Trump. “I really hope that Hillary can use him in her administration and implement some of his ideas in the administration”.
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders endorsed rival Hillary Clinton today, but Sanders supporters in Iowa like Caleb Humphrey of Madrid aren’t ready to do the same. “I think there’s a lot of risks in there to us as a country”.
Chris Laursen of Ottumwa, another Iowa delegate to the party’s national convention, tweeted that he feels “sick…betrayed” by Sander’s endorsement.
Trump’s campaign is trying to woo disgruntled Sanders supporters who are opposed to Clinton.

Many Sanders supporters have voiced their opposition to Clinton, refusing to vote for her regardless of her party stance.
