Sanders Endorses Clinton, But Colorado’s Democratic Delegates Are Still Split
“I have come here to make it as clear as possible as to why I’m endorsing Hillary Clinton and why she must become our next president”, Sanders told a roaring crowd.”I have come here today not to talk about the past, but to focus on the future”, he said, a future will be shaped by what happens in voting booths on November 8th, when Americans go to vote.

Democrats have coalesced around Clinton’s candidacy since she defeated Sanders in primaries last month in California and five other states, led by endorsements from President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and others. “I’m proud to stand with her today”.
“Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process, and I congratulate her for that”, Sanders told a cheering crowd, with Clinton at his side.
“These are America’s fights”, Clinton said. Sanders received 60.4 percent of the vote and 15 delegates while Clinton received 38 percent and only nine delegates.
Sanders wants to ensure that his ideas are part of the party platform presented at the Democratic National Convention later this month in Philadelphia, when Clinton is formally nominated. They reportedly failed, however, to reach common ground on the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade accord.
Party officials met over the weekend in Orlando, Florida to finalise the Democratic platform, which they described as the most ambitious and progressive in history. Numerous platform changes came from Sanders’ progressive campaign and unwillingness to concede without representation of his policies.
Bernie Sanders has endorsed Hillary Clinton to be the United States Democratic Party’s candidate for the presidency. “I am somewhat surprised that Bernie Sanders was not true to himself and his supporters”.
With Clinton having won the necessary amount of delegates to become the Democratic nominee, however, Sanders’ concession was only a matter of time. The Democrats spoke on condition of anonymity ahead of Sanders’ formal announcement. “And I intend to be in every corner of this country to make certain that happens”.

“We’re going to hear from Hillary Clinton – the obligations that we have as senators to carry forward on a program that is not dominated by Trump”, said Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, of Nevada.
