Trump reacted to Sanders’ support of Clinton with a series of tweets. There, there, pat on the back 5. Even the Green Party’s Jill Stein offered Sanders the top of the party’s ticket if he wanted to join.

But Lauren Livingston, of Syracuse, said she’s not ready to go all-in with her support for Clinton.

Speaking in front of supporters from both camps in New Hampshire Mr Sanders, who for months ran against Mrs Clinton in a hotly-contested and bitter campaign for the party’s nomination, congratulated her for winning. “I have come here to make it as clear as possible why I am endorsing Hillary Clinton and why she must become our next president”, Sanders said at a joint rally here.

“To everyone here and everyone across the country who poured your heart and soul into Senator Sanders’ campaign, thank you”, she said.

Following the announcement, the potential future POTUS celebrated by excitedly proclaiming that she and Senator Sanders were coming together to defeat presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

For example, People for Bernie, a large pro-Sanders activist group, posted a statement saying they are not joining Sanders in endorsing Clinton. “You will always have a seat at the table when I am in the White House”, Clinton told Sanders during a rally in New Hampshire. The former secretary of state said the final four months of the campaign would be “much more enjoyable” working alongside Sanders and echoed her campaign slogan, “We are stronger together”. “I am prepared to answer, to release all of the transcripts of the speeches to Wall Street that I gave”. “I really hope that Hillary can use him in her administration and implement some of his ideas in the administration”.
