“It is no secret that Hillary Clinton and I disagree on a number of issues”.

Sanders has avoided endorsing Clinton for weeks.

“Being here with him in New Hampshire, I can’t help but reflect how much more enjoyable this election is going to be now that we’re on the same side”, she said.

His speech was full of Sanders’ typical bromides about income inequality, the evil one-percenters that are keeping the rest of us down, and free college.

He also congratulated her for that on Twitter.

“This election, let’s send a clear message”, she said.

“I have known Hillary Clinton for 25 years”, he said. The support could give her a boost to maintain her lead over Donald Trump, which is slipping in the national polls. But Sanders made his own reasoning transparent on Tuesday. Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee.

In his remarks, Sanders warned that Trump was a divisive figure who would create further splintering.

Grijalva, a strong supporter of Sanders, noted that the endorsement will be important to “motivate” the millions of voters who backed Sanders in the primaries.
