Sanders finally endorses Clinton to defeat Trump

“She will be the Democratic nominee for president and I intend to do everything I can to make certain she will be the next president of the United States”, Sanders said during a campaign rally in New Hampshire.

Weiner says he’s ready to do whatever it takes to make sure Clinton is the next President, as opposed to Donald Trump.

Standing onstage with Clinton on Tuesday in a state where he crushed the former US secretary of state with a sweeping victory in the primary season, Sanders called Clinton “far and away the best candidate” to address the serious crisis facing the country.

It’s still unclear how much Sanders will campaign for his former rival and what role he’ll play.

“These aren’t just my fights”.

Beard said students and recent college graduates have a hard time relating to Clinton.

Sanders said he will go to all corners of the country to drum up support for Clinton now. The campaign also highlighted Sanders’ past criticism of Clinton for her support in the 1990s for the Defense of Marriage Act. Elizabeth Warren, a liberal stalwart popular with Sanders’ followers.

“I have come here to make it as clear as possible as to why I am endorsing Hillary Clinton“, said Sanders. Both Clinton and Sanders used active Snapchat accounts during the Democratic primary, but Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump has not joined the platform.

Chants of “Bernie” broke out in the gymnasium while opening speakers addressed the crowd, prompting Clinton’s faithful to chant, “unity”.

“It is no secret that Hillary Clinton and I disagree on a number of issues”, he said. He added: “She stands for everything that I am against”.

Clinton was the target of a Snapchat filter when conservative group Judicial Watch sponsored one on the day of her Benghazi testimony last October.

“It feels like she’s saying, ‘Let them eat cake, ‘” he said. Sanders threw Clinton his support less than two weeks before the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, where she is to be formally nominated.

Several Sanders supporters left the room as Clinton began speaking, while another turned her back for the entire speech.

Clinton delegate Terry Schanz said the Democratic Party got stronger with the endorsement.

FOX31 Denver political reporter Joe St. George caught up with Sandoval Tuesday. He’s a fan of the proposed Democratic platform, but sees it as a compromise. “What we need to do is we need to unify around our principles and our ideals”, he said.
