Sanders gains on Clinton, trails by 2 points
His campaign has also noted that he has raised money for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Clinton is campaigning in NY with Sen. Sanders needs to win 68 percent of the remaining delegates if he hopes to clinch the Democratic nomination.
At one point, Clinton started coughing during the interview, to which a host joked that she sounded like she had used some “medicinal” – a reference to medical marijuana.
The former first lady told a cheering crowd at a Los Angeles rally Saturday afternoon that if elected, she would push Congress to lift the $7.25-an-hour federal base wage. “I need her to do a good job”, says Milena Sherry, 41 and a teacher.
However given the advantage Clinton has in the delegate count, it would be a tough task for Sanders to prevent the former Secretary of State from becoming the Democratic presidential nominee. It takes 2,383 to win. Well, it isn’t. You know, Bernie Sanders came out and said the legislation passed in NY was a model for the nation.
“This is a campaign on the move”, Sanders shouted to a crowd of thousands gathered along the waterfront in Queens, the Manhattan skyline serving as a dramatic backdrop. “This is a movement getting the establishment very, very nervous”.
Sanders also accused Clinton on Monday of appearing to violate campaign finance laws with her use of a joint fundraising committee set up previous year with the national party. Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook rebutted the accusations on Monday, saying in a statement that “the Sanders campaign’s false attacks have gotten out of hand”.
Judy Parrino, 56, of Carmel, Putnam County, said Kasich, the OH governor, comes from a state with similar problems to NY.
Remigao’s boyfriend, Julian Irizarry, chimed in that Trump was making “New York look bad”. Next week there will be a number of Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states holding primaries, so big wins in NY would give both front runners momentum.
Here’s the trouble for Trump: Each of New York’s 27 congressional districts has three delegates to award. Scartozzi is voting for Trump but says if November offers him a choice between Cruz and Sanders, he’s voting for the democratic socialist.
If you’re heading out to the polls on Tuesday, there are some things you should remember.
Jim Hare, 69, of Elmira said he’s supporting Clinton, in part, because she knows the region and is more of a centrist. Inside, it’s United States Vs. Texas – a challenge to President Obama’s “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” program.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich has had trouble breaking through, but is liked among those who have an opinion of him: 31 percent held favorable views of Kasich, with his “negatives” at just 19 percent.
“I think he’s the most in tune with what the people actually want, not just what his constituents want”, said voter Woody Poulard. “The spirit of our country, the joy, rests in you… and we have to believe in America, we can change the world”.
Because of that, Republicans and Democrats have been fanning out across the state to win support. “Or do we unite behind the Cruz campaign?” Even two of Donald Trump’s children can’t vote for him in the Republican primary because they missed the deadline for changing their party registration.
If the polls hold, he will win all 14 of the at-large delegates, and at least two delegates from each of the state’s districts.
Mr Trump blasts the delegate nominating process as rigged.

Trump is better positioned to coast Tuesday and pick up most, if not all, of the 95 Republican convention delegates at stake. Clinton wants to expand and tweak the Affordable Care Act, while Sanders continues to call for a single-payer system. With all these barriers, he was always going to have to run a flawless campaign to overtake her natural advantages, and he hasnt.
