Sanders Gives Clinton a ‘Nightmare’ Scenario in NH
The poll showed Sanders’s lead over Clinton holds in every demographic group, in particular voters under 35, first-time primary voters and those living in the northernmost parts of the state.

The latest poll also found than 52 percent of New Hampshire Democrats are now sure about their choice for president, up from 36 percent who felt that way in early December.
Sanders leads Clinton 60% to 33% in a recent poll from WMUR/CNN of Granite State voters.
But the results come as Clinton has made the case that she’s more electable than Sanders, arguing that Democrats should give her the party’s nod to keep Republicans from attacking Sanders’ history as a democratic socialist in the general election.
Whereas Bernie is appealing to voter’s hearts, Zeleny said that Clinton is trying to convince voters using logic, telling “them that her experience is necessary”.
Gov. O’Malley has been polling poorly in New Hampshire so far this primary and it didn’t change in January, only getting the support of 1 percent polled.
“Sanders is aided by the fact that most Super Tuesday contests are open to independent voters – a group where he performs well”, Murray said in the Monmouth report. The talking points they are putting out there, however, are less than convincing, as I learned as a guest on the public radio show “To the Point” yesterday, when I heard a Sanders supporter argue that an Iowa win would greatly boost Bernie’s African-American support just like it did for Obama in SC in 2008. “Both Sanders and the Republicans know that Hillary is the candidate who can take them on and ensure the White House isn’t in Donald Trump or Ted Cruz’s hands”. That’s improved since December, when 83% had a positive take on the neighboring state’s senator. In another troubling number for Clinton, some 55% of respondents said she is the “least honest”.
The shift is, in part, due to waning of interest in the issue of national security among Democratic primary voters.

Overall, 91% say they have a favorable view of Sanders, while just 2% have an unfavorable opinion.
