Sanders Hits Back at Clinton’s Claims That He Took Wall Street Money

With the next nominating contests in Nevada and South Carolina, Clinton will seek to lift her standing among women.

The Clinton campaign is lucky no video of Bill’s attack on Sanders has surfaced yet-though maybe that’s exactly why they had the former president making a campaign appearance at a small New Hampshire middle school.

For some of the many still undecided voters, particularly middle-aged and older women, that message could have sway.

The young voters Clinton spoke to Monday are the voters she’s missing among her supporters, as many millennials have gravitated towards Sanders’ campaign. TV cameras in Sanders’ headquarters showed young supporters booing, then a spontaneous chant of “She’s a liar” erupted and grew. “When you’re young, you’re thinking: ‘Where are the boys? Bernie Sanders, who has never accepted corporate PAC money in his life”, said the statement Monday.

Well, that isn’t exactly going over well with younger women, who aren’t backing Clinton. They say Clinton will find more success in the SC primary on Feb 20 and the Nevada caucuses a week later, where polls show her with a wide lead. They tried to shame younger women into supporting Ms. Clinton blindly, showing an arrogance toward youth that is unbecoming apart from their attempt to play the gender card. “It would be bad if your sole/main reason for not voting for her is because she’s a woman”, said Ezimora, a Democrat turned independent who says she has “no idea” who she might support in the election.

At a campaign event in New Hampshire on Sunday, Slick Willy implied you shouldn’t vote for Bernie Sanders because some of his supporters have said mean things about Hillary and her supporters online. “You want somebody that values all of your principles and the morals that you stand for”, said Greaves during an interview with CNN’s Brooke Baldwin. “She would be hit so hard, in so many sectors that I think it would be tough for her to win”.

They sport “Grandmas for Bernie” buttons, laud him for his vision, and seem content to pass up the opportunity to put Clinton on a historic path to the White House, betting that there will be another chance down the line.

Mrs Albright said: “A lot of you young women think it’s done”.

“When the exact same problems crop up in separate campaigns, with different staff, at what point do the principals say, ‘Hey, maybe it’s US?'” Axelrod tweeted.

“It’s unfortunate that, you know, President Clinton has made a decision to launch a series of attacks against Sen”.

“We can’t get in a place where we’re so mad, we demonize everyone against us”, the former president later said, clearly frustrated.

“I love Bernie and I also really like Hillary”. And asked again if Clinton should disavow what Albright and Steinem said.

Jealous pointed out that at other times during the campaign, Clinton had spent time with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian rather than attending big union gatherings. We can’t control what they say.

Steinem may have been speaking off-hand, but the sense of betrayal young feminists felt was all too real.

While Clinton has been overstressing the long game, young women haven’t stressed it enough.
