Sanders on Colbert: ‘The revolution will literally be televised’
Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) is offering Stephen Colbert some late-night advice, interrupting the “Late Show” host’s monologue to deliver a few wisecracks and tips of his own.

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders brought his brand of politics to late-night TV Wednesday when he helped Stephen Colbert open The Late Show.
If you want to live tweet Sanders’ appearance on Colbert, use hashtag #LSSC or #BernieSanders. “It’s like you’re puppy monkey baby”, Colbert said, referencing the Super Bowl ad. “Why do you think the young ones like you?” “You’ve gotta follow your heart”. The revolution is possible; you are the revolution. “And this time, the revolution will be televised”.
If Bill Clinton’s presidency was a “two for the price of one” – thanks to Hillary Clinton’s presence as first lady – Bernie Sanders says his presidency would be a “two-fer”. “I think that’s a false solution”, Sanders said. “Electing me president is a twofer”.
“And this wins me SC?” a seemingly skeptic Sanders asked Colbert. Sanders sipped to a cheering crowd.
When it comes to comments made by Fox New’s Bill O’Reilly on Monday’s show that Sanders is just like Trump, Sanders was quick to cite them as a reason that voters may want to support him.
The Vermont senator went on to explain his allure with millenials, saying many agree with his questioning of the world.

SANDERS: A lot of Donald Trump supporters are angry, they are the kind of people who are working longer hours for lower wages… “If you like boiled peanuts it will certainly give you a leg up in SC”. “But what we need to be is rational in figuring out how we address the problems, and not simply scapegoating minorities”-referring to Donald Trump’s controversial call to ban all Muslim immigration”. Sanders asked the host, before answering his own question. Sanders suspected (as many of his critics do) that his statements regarding universal healthcare and free college tuition for all American citizens, especially as a means of avoiding the current, debt-ridden situation of many young people, were at fault for his success.
