“I talked to Joe, I think it was three weeks ago”, Sanders said.

As 3LW would say: players are gonna play, haters are gonna hate, and Joe Biden is going to put people running for president in uncomfortable positions.

During an interview with NPR “Weekend Edition” host Rachel Martin, which is set to air on July 3, Biden said Sanders would be endorsing Clinton for president.

In an interview on MSNBC Thursday night, Sanders responded to Trump, who at a rally in ME on Wednesday, told a crowd he knew “what (Sanders) thinks inside” and that the Vermont senator “hates” Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton raised $68 million in June, the month she became the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, and heads into the general election with more than $44 million on hand, her campaign reported Friday.

Getting to an endorsement is a goal, but Sanders admitted “we are not there at this moment”. “Look, on that issue, we are trying to work with Secretary Clinton’s campaign on areas that we can agree on”.

Sanders supporters quickly note that super delegates don’t vote until the Democratic convention, adding that Sanders still has leverage in the platform shaping process.

He has at previous points signaled his campaign is winding down.

Trump claimed at a rally on Wednesday that Sanders hates Clinton and suggested that he would back Trump in the general election.

“And maybe most importantly, we can not have a president who goes around insulting Mexicans and Latinos, Muslims and women, and African Americans”.

He has said repeatedly he will do whatever he can to help defeat Republican Donald Trump in November. “I would love her to say that and I would love her to move aggressively to make that happen”.
