Sanders plays defense on debate ‘ghetto’ comment
At the top of a heated Democratic presidential primary debate on Sunday in Michigan, Hillary Clinton andBernie Sanders called on the state’s Republican Gov. Rick Snyder to resign amid the Flint water crisis.

The win makes for Sanders’ third of the weekend.
With 91% of the vote counted, Vermont Senator Sanders is polling 64%, while former Secretary of State Clinton has 36%.
In a chaotic election year that has seen outsiders tap voter unease, Clinton will not be taking anything for granted, not least Sanders.
Exit polls from the first Democratic contests revealed that Clinton is not likely to be nominated for her honesty. “Or maybe, Anderson, maybe we should let Wall Street come in and run the city of Flint because we know their honesty and integrity has done so much for the American people”. Do not be fooled into believing that this race is over just because MSNBC and CNN tell you it is.
“When billionaires on Wall Street destroyed this economy, they went to Congress and they said, “Please, we’ll be good boys, bail us out.'” he said”.
The Democratic debates have been lower rated than the Donald Trump-fueled GOP showdowns ever since last summer.
“Sen. Sanders was spot-on in his comments about gun manufacturer liability”, the gun lobby said Monday in a tweet about the Democratic debate the previous evening between Sanders, an Independent senator from Vermont, and Hillary Clinton, his rival to be the party’s nominee.
“Let’s have some facts instead of some rhetoric for a change”, Clinton snapped at Sanders at one point. Clinton said she voted for the bailout package during the 2008 recession to save the industry and criticized Sanders for voting against it. The auto industry plays out an outsize role in MI, where a crucial primary takes place on Tuesday. Clinton, who had until that point not called for Snyder to resign, chimed in saying, I’m into that. While the discussion didn’t reveal serious policy differences between the candidates, it did highlight the divide between Democrats and Republicans, who spent their debate comparing the relative size of their fingers and other body parts.

Even Clinton agreed that her husband’s 1994 crime bill and 1996 welfare law solved some problems, but created others. “If you’re going to talk, tell the whole story”, Clinton responded.
