Sanders says Bland’s death result of her race

The grand jury’s decision in the death of 28-year-old Sandra Bland does not conclude the matter.

But past media reports say the president is not the best golfer , especially for a guy who spends a lot of time on the links. Obama was playing with childhood friends Greg Orme and Bobby Titcomb, as well as regular golf buddy Darrell Harrington.

On Monday, a grand jury in Texas declined to indict any law enforcement officers in connection with the July death of Sandra Bland, a Chicago-area woman police say committed suicide by hanging herself with a trash bag in a Waller County jail cell.

Carter said it also is “necessary” to “take action wherever else in the world this evil organization metastasizes”. He told The Associated Press on Wednesday the neighbourhood is the backbone of Daesh’s structure in Ramadi.

Waller County District Attorney Elton Mathis has maintained that there is no evidence of foul play, but a lawyer for the family is requesting all the evidence from the grand jury proceedings to conduct their own investigation. Palestinian killed after alleged Jerusalem vehicle attack
In recent months, Israeli forces have destroyed the family homes of several Palestinians for allegedly attacking Israelis. Police spokeswoman Luba Samri says police arrested a suspect in his 30s from the West Bank village of Beit Sira.

Late Monday, Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said in a statement that Bland wouldn’t have died in police custody “if she were a white woman”, according to CNN.

Special prosecutors aren’t saying what other potential indictments could still be on the table, nor releasing any details of what happened in the grand jury room.

“All charges are under consideration”, he said, declining to elaborate.

Bland was found dead in a jail cell after being arrested during a traffic stop, when she was pulled over for changing lanes without signaling. Dashcam video showed the traffic stop quickly became confrontational, with trooper Brian Encinia at one point holding a stun gun and yelling at Bland, “I will light you up!” after she refused to get out of her auto.

Encinia has been on administrative duty since the incident. Her arrest and death came amid heightened national scrutiny of police and their dealings with black suspects, especially those killed by officers or who died in police custody.

“Sandra Bland’s case shows that we need to do more than #SayHerName”, O’Malley said on Twitter, referring to the campaign that sprang up after her death.

The family filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against those involved in Bland’s arrest, including Encinia, the sheriff’s office and her jailers. County officials said they themselves received death threats. A medical examiner in Texas has ruled her death a suicide, but her family has disputed that finding.

At Bland’s funeral in IL, her mother Geneva Reed-Veal said her daughter had hoped to spend her life stopping racial injustice.

“All charges are under consideration”, the prosecutor said. It’s even bigger for the family of Sandra Bland, and so this group of special prosecutors has put in long hours and now we are presenting the fruit of our labor to the grand jury. “They investigated him for “official oppression” – that would be the charge – and then forwarded those findings to the grand jury”. The case is set to go to trial in January 2017.

Last month, attorneys representing Waller County filed a motion seeking to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing that Bland took her life because she was distraught that her family members didn’t bail her out of jail.

In its inspection, the commission noted that Waller County jail staff were not properly trained on how to recognize or manage inmates who were potentially suicidal.
