Sanders says Clinton ‘insulting’ Californians for not debating in state
New poll numbers suggest it could be quite a horse race between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton this fall.

“I think it’s a little insulting to the people of California – the largest state”, Sanders said, addressing a rally on the astro-turf football field at Santa Monica High School.
“In terms of the debates, for example, we’re still waiting-Secretary Clinton agreed way back when to do a debate in California in May”.
Clinton also criticized Trump’s personality.
More than half of voters prefer Clinton on foreign policy.
“The only thing standing between Donald Trump and the Oval Office is all of us”, she said.
Democratic US presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders shakes hands with rival Hillary Clinton at the conclusion of the Democratic presidential candidates’ debate at St Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire December 19, 2015.
She’s just weeks away from wrapping up the Democratic presidential nomination, and friends, aides and supporters describe a candidate who isn’t particularly rattled by what she expects will be Trump’s increasingly direct attacks on her marriage and husband’s personal indiscretions.
State Rep. Daniel Riemer (D-Milwaukee) said both candidates lead Trump in a possible November match up according to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal numbers.
Hillary Clinton has declined an invitation to take part in a Fox News debate with Bernie Sanders, her campaign announced Monday.
With 126 pledged delegates at stake, New Jersey offers Clinton more than what she needs to clinch – even if she were to lose the state. For Mrs. Clinton, 52 percent stated they have an unfavorable opinion, 40 percent have a favorable opinion and the same eight percent indicated they were unsure.
Sanders has been pushing for Clinton to participate in one final debate.

“Democracy, and respect for the voters of California, would suggest that there should be a vigorous debate in which the voters may determine whose ideas they support”, he said. Kentucky’s secretary of state, Alison Grimes, said in a statement that the state will recanvas the results at all 120 county boards of election.
