Sanders says Obama will remain neutral in Democratic race
Earlier this month 3 percent said they were undecided and 20 percent said they might change their mind. So she is blanketing Iowa in the final days of this race, making stops in places like Adel, where the bowling alley advertises Bud Light and, at least today, a large campaign Hillary Clinton banner hanging over the alleys.

Sanders said he did not ask Obama for an endorsement.
Dana Brown, a graphic arts designer who came out to see Clinton yesterday, said she supported the former secretary of state for “practical” reasons. Clinton leads Sanders there 50 to 44.
“Bernie came in with the luxury of being a complete long shot and just letting loose”, Obama said told Politico.
Sanders did not answer questions about the issue after a meeting Wednesday with President Barack Obama at the White House.
“We have got to do a lot better to protect the middle class and working families”, Sanders said. “Hillary Clinton did what I called a 40-thousand foot bombing run over Iowa”.
Yes, that’s right: Sanders was considered so toxic by areas of the mainstream American news that Biden NOT running was deemed more newsworthy (73 minutes of airtime) than Sanders’ policies or campaign (20 minutes of airtime).
This year, Clinton also lags behind Sanders in New Hampshire, meaning she faces the possibility of losing the two first in the nation contests for the Democratic nomination. But the DNC did not say it would sanction it even if the three agreed.
“As I have said from day one I want to see debates. You know, you think about it”. To be in college and not having that option, if you will. And to know that you have to go raise money and go to some doctor in NY somewhere, and that whole thing they used to do. “Democratic voters should be engaged in this process”. Furthermore, female Democrats also tend to have a higher percentage turnout than their male counterparts in presidential elections.
“But this is the future of the Democratic party”, he said. And I’m thinking we have a pretty good chance there.
Clinton’s speech was wide ranging, covering mental health, health care and student debt, but the bulk of it focused on economic issues. While Sanders has 2.5 million total followers, Clinton has 5.23 million followers and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, boasts almost 5 million followers as well. Tapscott has endorsed Sanders and thinks he can achieve a strong finish.

“It was just a discussion to get myself updated on some of the current issues facing this country, how we most effectively deal with (the Islamic State group), his assessment on Iran and how we work with Iran and our relationship with Iran, that’s what it was about”, Sanders added, confirming nobody else participated in the private meeting. If not? “I think we’re going to be struggling”, the senator admitted, but said he still would continue to fight on in New Hampshire and elsewhere even if his showing in Iowa is poor.
