Sanders stakes all on attacking Clinton over trade
“That means in contests all across the country”, said Kane Miller, who had worked for Obama’s campaign in 2008 and is now state director of Clinton’s campaign.

People in Omaha and Western Nebraska have already waited in long lines, voiced their opinion, and cast their vote on caucus Saturday.
Trump won the backing of Republican voters across the board in the MA primary while Democratic voters were divided, reflecting the tight contest between Clinton and Sanders, according to exit polls. Rubio and Kasich both had higher hopes for winner-take-all contests on March 15 in their home states.
Meanwhile, on the Republican side, you have to wonder about those 20,000 registered Democrats who dis-enrolled from their party since January, presumably to preserve the option of taking a Republican ballot in the state’s open primary.
Charles Fisher, a 19-year-old University of Nebraska-Lincoln student from Bellevue, says he’s caucusing for Vermont Sen.
Fisher criticized Clinton for flip-flopping on some issues, adding, “Bernie just seems a lot more stable”.
“When you run for president it’s not just Americans who pay attention”, she continued. Sanders’ campaign made a concerted push to break $40 million haul.
Ted Cruz, who finished second, will get 13 delegates while Donald Trump takes eight.
“I believe that he is a true fighter for conservatives”, said Berry, a 67-year-old retired AT&T manager. “And the rhetoric we’re hearing on the other side has never been lower”.
Clinton fared particularly well among black voters, but the state’s white voters also favored her over Bernie Sanders.
Trump, too, had his eye on a general election match-up with the former secretary of state, casting her as part of a political establishment that has failed Americans.
Omaha attorney Dave Domina said Saturday he will caucus for Sanders.
A billionaire businessman and reality TV star from New York, Trump didn’t have any trouble connecting with Alabama voters, running strongly among four other candidates regardless of the age, education, income, ideology and religion of the state’s voters, the preliminary data showed.
Domina says he also agrees with Sanders that “most change will be secondary to changing campaign financing”. Reality set in on Wednesday morning, however, when Sanders’ campaign pledged to stay in the race until the convention.
Heading into Saturday’s voting, Clinton had 1,066 delegates to Sanders’ 432, including superdelegates – members of Congress, governors and party officials who can support the candidate of their choice.
Lancaster County caucuses will be held in and near Lincoln at 6 p.m.
Despite Clinton’s significant victory in SC, the race to become the Democratic presidential nominee is far from over. Rubio had 116 delegates and Kasich had 28. The move appears to have helped, with both Vermont Sen.

Go figure: Sanders did the best in the night’s most liberal state (Vermont) and the least liberal state (Oklahoma), where less than half of Democratic voters described themselves as liberal.
