Sanders supporters planning to rally at convention
Jewish Democrats and appointees by the Hillary Clinton campaign are hoping to bridge the differences within the drafting committee in the hope of consensus on the wording, one that will reflect Clinton’s longstanding support for Israel and the two-state solution.

Polls shows Sanders beating Trump by a larger margin than Clinton in hypothetical head-to-head matches.
Clinton now has 2,313 delegates – including 1,769 pledged delegates and 544 superdelegates. “It’s a corrupt system, and it’s designed just to ensure that Democracy will not be stolen by the people”, he said during a news conference in Madison Wednesday.
As of Friday morning, Clinton had 2,313 total delegates, including 544 pledged superdelegates, compared to Sanders’ 1,546 delegates, including 45 superdelegates.
It’s hard to imagine Hillary Clinton garnering such a massive, passionate turnout of support on that busy Memorial Day, even though she’s pretty much a cinch to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination on June 7.
Despite the numbers, Vandeveer believes Sanders has a chance to win. Under the resolution outlined by Davis, that would mean six of the state’s 10 superdelegates should pledge to Sanders during the DNC convention being held July 25-28 in Philadelphia.
“It has been exhilarating to see so many young people become enthusiastic with Senator Sanders’ campaign”. “I think that our system is sort of dependent on the Super PAC’s and big money, and Bernie’s not big money, he’s a man of the people”, said Santa Cruz resident Rina Natkin.
Vandeveer replaces outgoing party chairwoman Stephanie Ohigashi, who until now remained neutral in the race.
While Wisconsin uses the primary results to award the bulk of its delegates, it has ten superdelegates who may back the candidate of their choosing.
In this year’s primary, the Democratic Party chose to allow NPP voters as well as registered independents and others to vote for Democratic candidates in the primary if they choose, while the Republicans are not allowing this.
“We know her personally so it’s easy to talk with her about the needs of Hawaii, especially education and land issues, and security”, Ohigashi said.
The power of Clinton’s support among superdelegates was evident in the New Hampshire primary in February.

That’s what drew the lawsuit from the Sanders supporters. Gov. David Ige and Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui have not yet announced how they plan to vote.
