Sanders supporters react to his DNC speech
Monday morning in Philadelphia, outgoing Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was heckled at a breakfast of Florida delegates, with opponents shouting, “Shame!”.

The main complaint was over the lack of debates.
Both President Obama and Hillary Clinton accepted Wasserman Schultz’s resignation in statements issued within moments of each other.
Wasserman-Schultz is also a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Florida since 2005.
As Democrats opened their convention in Philadelphia amid palpable discord, Trump offered his take to supporters.
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has said she is stepping down as the DNC chairwoman, according to The New York Times.
Sanders had called on Schultz to resign earlier Sunday, saying that the news did not come as “a great shock” to him because he believed all along that the party was stacking the deck against him.
She will gavel each session to order and will gavel each session closed, a role that had been expected to be held by Wasserman Schultz.
One Clinton ally said the congresswoman knew she was becoming a “distraction”.
“Her leadership of the DNC has meant that we had someone who brought Democrats together not just for my re-election campaign, but for accomplishing the shared goals we have had for our country”, Mr Obama said.
A small number of people walked out of Wasserman Schultz’s speech.
One of the more controversial emails included a discussion of whether Sanders is Jewish or an atheist, which Clinton on Sunday called “unacceptable” while telling CBS’ “60 Minutes” program that she had not read the leaked documents.
Chief among their hesitance to support the Democratic nominee is concerns over whether the primaries were conducted fairly.
“This party of justice and peace and Lyndon Johnson”, she said.
State party spokesman Jake Hamburg says the state party worked hard to ensure impartiality during the primary and had hoped to get Sanders’ wife to participate in the Schultz event.

“I’m going to continue to make sure that Florida has a strong voice, to speak loud and proud on our values, and you will see me every day between now and November 8 on the campaign trail”, she said.
