Just on Saturday Clinton beat Sanders in Nevada, winning over most of the black voters, which is notable leading into the South Carolina’s primary on February 27. South Carolina State Representatives Joe Neal and Justin Bamberg will join Sanders.

Tonight, she elaborated that she would release the transcripts of her speeches only when all of the other candidates, including Republicans, did so. “If you don’t have those relationships, it’s really hard to get things done”, Clinton said. And he doesn’t use the language of our dear sister Hillary Clinton, when she talks about young black youth as superpredators that justified expansion of mass incarceration, and of course, the pulling of [the] rug from under welfare.
Clinton responded in more personal terms, saying that white people should be honest and recognize “that our experiences may not equip us to understand what a lot of our African-American fellow citizens go through every single day”.
Both former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen.
Sanders lost black voters in Nevada, 76- 22 percent, according to entrance polls.
“In the richest country in the history of the world we do not have to have children living in extreme poverty, that we need a government that represents all of us, not just the wealthy and the powerful”, Sanders said Wednesday. Another 8% said they “like her”, and 7% said she is “capable of being president” and “qualified”.
A lot has happened since Bernie Sanders kicked off his campaign in Burlington in May.
“We are in this race to win and I think we’re going to pull off one of the great political upsets”, Sanders said.
“Do I think at least in some parts of that Republican base there is race involved in that?” he added.
Clyburn also suggested to anyone concerned about his endorsement ahead of the SC primary that they should not worry about it happening again.
Later, during the panel discussion, Sharpton said that if Sanders “addresses the issues and can convince people that they can trust that he will enact them”, then he does have a realistic chance of taking the black vote away from Clinton. You know everybody is not going to bring up their transcripts. “Let’s get more good jobs for more people”.

Still, the findings underscore weaknesses of the Democratic candidates and misgivings of Democratic voters heading into an election in which the party has experienced much lower turnout in the primaries than the Republicans.
