Sanders wants Democratic Party leader to resign
Whether removing Wasserman Schultz from any major speaking role will be enough to placate them remains to be seen.

Wasserman Schultz will be present at the Democratic National Convention, which starts on Monday, but will not make a formal speech.
“She’s been quarantined”, a top Democrat told CNN.
One email exchange concerned singer Ariana Grande, who was considered to perform at a DNC event but was caught in an infamous online video that showed her licking other customers’ doughnuts at a bakery in California. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage.
“Hey Zach, I think I mentioned to you briefly that I am planning a trip with my college roommates in December to NYC. This could make several points difference with my peeps”. “My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist”, DNC chief financial officer Brad Marshall wrote.
There’s no evidence that the DNC arranged for such an action.
In a Facebook post Saturday, Marshall said emails were written in the heat of the moment.
Wasserman Schultz has always been criticized by supporters of Sanders over concerns the DNC put a thumb on the scale in favor of Clinton during the primary process, and the deluge of internal emails released by Wikileaks only added fuel to that fire.
On its web page, Wikileaks said the new cache of emails came from the accounts of “seven key figures in the DNC” and warned that the release was “part one of our new Hillary Leaks series”. “The comments expressed do not reflect my beliefs nor do they reflect the beliefs of the DNC and its employees”.
The DNC’s CEO, Amy Dacey, replied: “AMEN”. He has identified Pope Francis’ social action as a model for religious practice.
And went on to suggest that it might be a topic through which the candidate might be marginalized.
This Week host George Stephanopoulos asked Sanders what should be done about it, and Sanders said it was further evidence she should not be in charge of the DNC.

“This is a tremendous victory for Senator Sanders’ fight to democratize the Democratic Party and reform the Democratic nominating process”, Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager, said of the commission on superdelegates.
