Sanders Wins Wyoming, But Fails to Gain Ground on Clinton
Mrs Clinton though remains the clear frontrunner for the Democratic party presidential ticket for November’s election, but Mr Sanders has the momentum and has enjoyed a string of successes at the polls in recent weeks.

Clinton, at an evening rally in Brooklyn, found a rare point of agreement with Trump on the matter of NY values.
Democratic presidential hopefuls, too, were focused on New York’s big trove of delegates even as Wyoming gave its nod to Sanders over Hillary Clinton.
Asked on CNN if she were preparing for such a scenario, Clinton said, “No, I intend to have the number of delegates that are required to be nominated”.
However, Sanders’ victory will not have much of an impact on his campaign as he secures just seven of the 14 delegates from the state. “We’re heading west. And I think you’re going to see us do very, very well in many of those states”.
With 34 state and territorial races decided, Sanders has won 16 of the contests compared with 18 for Clinton.
Clinton has been campaigning in her adopted state for the past few days where she and Sanders have been battling over issues like the minimum wage. “It’s wrong, and it goes against everything NY and America stand for”, she says.
“She may have the experience to be president of the United States”, Sanders said on NBC’s Meet the Press.
Trump, the Republican front-runner who grew up in Queens and now lives in Manhattan, polled 54 percent in his home state to 22 percent for Ohio Gov. John Kasich and 15 percent for U.S. Sen.
That’s because the rest of the April primaries are taking place in Northeastern states: NY on Tuesday, April 19; Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island the following Tuesday, April 26. Outperforming expectations, Hillary Clinton tied in pledged delegates today and now leads Senator Sanders by approximately 220 pledged delegates nationwide. A candidate needs 2,383 delegates to win.
Kennedy also argued he had the momentum needed to win the general election.
The New York Fox News poll showed Trump poised to cross the 50 percent statewide threshold needed to capture all of New York’s statewide Republican delegates.

“I think she and I would agree – and I hope that is her view – that we would do everything possible to prevent this country from seeing Donald Trump or some other Republican in the White House”, he said.
