Sanders Wins Wyoming Democratic Caucuses
Vermont Senator, Sanders won the last Democratic contest in Wyoming caucuses ahead of the April 19 NY primary beating Hillary Clinton statewide by about 11 percentage points. So even if Sanders were to draw even in pledged delegates by June – which is extremely unlikely – Clinton could be able to persuade superdelegates to stick with her by pointing to her popular vote lead.

Sanders also addressed the controversy from earlier in the week when he claimed Clinton is not “qualified” to be president, blaming his response on her campaign questioning his competency. Clinton, who represented the state in the U.S. Senate for eight years, has said this primary is personal for her.
Sanders was campaigning in Queens when news outlets projected he was the victor in Wyoming, prompting wild cheers from supporters.
“With California what we’re going to do is something that [Sanders] really likes to do: barnstorm the place”, said Tad Devine, Sanders’s senior adviser, acknowledging Sanders’s underdog status against Clinton, the former secretary of state. He would have to gain at least 60 percent of the vote in New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania to overtake Clinton’s pledged delegate lead. “We now gotta do that for the entire nation”. “I want to use it as an example of the danger threatening our country because the founders set this country up so that we could keep growing and being bigger and including more people”.
“The key, especially for uncommitted delegates, is the electability question”, Manafort said on NBC. His campaign contended the errors were due to changes to the ballot by the state GOP and did not rule out challenging the results. In Colorado, where more than 3,000 people gathered at the state convention, Trump’s organizers distributed a slate of names that listed incorrect information for three of his candidates. He already had collected 21 delegates and visited the state to try to pad his numbers there. “Democratic voters will decide the party’s nominee”, said MoveOn’s executive director in a petition against superdelegates. Sanders was declared the victor of the Wyoming caucuses Saturday, though he will split the state’s 14 delegates evenly with his opponent, Hillary Clinton.
Host George Stephanopoulos noted Clinton’s lead in delegates and asked the senator if he would take his fight for the nomination to the floor of the convention.

Following Cruz’s sweep of Colorado’s remaining delegates on Saturday, the Associated Press count stands at Trump 743, Cruz 545, and John Kasich 143.
