After hearing eight hours of evidence in the case of Sandra Bland’s death, a grand jury in Waller County, Texas, declined to indict any county jail employees, KPRC 2 News reports.
Waller County prosecutor Warren Diepraam said in July that Bland’s death was suicide by hanging. “As for what happened, the details, of course those are all secret and we can not discuss those”, Jordan said.
“He should be careful not to part with the truth so liberally”, Lambert, who’s handling a wrongful death civil suit on the behalf of the Bland family, said Monday.

State trooper Brian Encinia remains on administrative leave for what the Texas Department of Public Safety refers to as violating procedures. “The idea for that is to allow police to control a potentially unsafe situation”.
