Sandra Bullock wants women to get more film roles written for men

Actress Sandra Bullock brought her new boyfriend Bryan Randall to the Los Angeles premiere of her film, Our Brand Is Crisis. Although, the new couple did not pose for red carpet photos together – Bullock reserved that honor for costar Billy Bob Thornton – they were snapped walking hand-in-hand upon arrival at the TCL Theatre.

Bill Zwecker had a chance to sit down with the stars of the film to talk more about the movie. The political satire showcases Sandra Bullock, who plays the head media manipulator, “Calamity” Jane Bodine.

Hands down Amal and hubby George Clooney are always on point.

Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall may have dodged cheating rumors recently as they were spotted still all sweet amid all the gossip.

Our Brand Is Crisis co-stars Anthony Mackie and Zoe Kazan.

“They said yes. I’ve known them both long before any of us were working”.

Jane is a ideal role for Bullock’s everywoman persona – she plays her as a bit of an idiot savant, rumpled, constantly clutching a half-eaten bag of salty snacks, outfitted in her ever present trench coat and glasses. When the uproar takes over the city, Jane and her team, packed in their van, struggle to get through traffic to the airport and their plane home.

“[My agent and I] were looking for things to do and I couldn’t find anything that excited me, and she says, ‘Well, this script is wonderful.’ I read it and it was awesome”, Sandra told Access Hollywood. Not only are we unbelievably excited to finally see her back on the big screen, we missed her red carpet appearances as well.

When she launches all out war on their competition, it’s personal more than anything else – she just wants to beat Pat Candy.

Opening nationwide Friday, Our Brand Is Crisis centers on Jane Bodine, a political strategist who comes out of semi-retirement to spearhead a campaign in Bolivia.
