Sandy Kenyon struggles to find excitement in new 007 film ‘Spectre’
Though the latest actor to play the iconic super spy, Daniel Craig, was an unpopular choice at first (Oh my gawd, hes blond!), hes won over most of his critics. It was odd, because there are so many great parts to it. The opening of Spectre is awesome, the energy, the vibe, the cinematography, the action, that helicopter fight, it’s all badass.

So, when Daniel Craig took on the role of James Bond in 2006 in the reboot of the franchise, I was hopeful but concerned.
The villain’s orange Jaguar C-X75 arguably steals the show from Bond’s Aston Martin DB10 – but viewers probably won’t recognize the supercar since it’s not a normal production model.
Léa Seydoux (Inglourious Basterds) also stars, while Ralph Fiennes (Schindler’s List, Harry Potter) and Ben Whishaw both return. “[Mendes] said they were never going to make the picture again, and he told the press that”.
In previous films, especially Skyfall, Craig’s Bond has been a bit of a downer, coming this close to complaining he’s too old for this shit, and looking nearly bored by his bedroom conquests.
But the worst thing is this writer’s opinion was the theme song.
Sam Smith’s sonorous voice meshes well with this movie.
He spends more than 5 percent of his on-screen time flirting, seducing or being “otherwise intimate”.
After the massive success of the last Bond outing, 2012’s SKYFALL, it became clear that whoever took over for the 24th film in the series would have their work cut out for them. He even formed a counter-intelligence plan called Operation Goldeneye, which was also the name of his house after the war (and where the 1995 movie would get its name).
“I’ve been doing this for awhile and have seen quite a lot on these movies, but nothing as grand as this”, Craig allowed.
