Sane will play against Swansea – Guardiola

The Citizens have managed eight wins out of eight games in all competitions under Guardiola this season with their impressive start drawing parallels to their beginning last term under Manuel Pellegrini.

Manchester City are the team to beat in this season’s Premier League based on the five games completed so far, meaning Pep Guardiola has turned heads during his short tenure at the club.

“He [De Bruyne] understands the game, he’s physically strong”, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach said.

Germany global Gundogan won the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal double under Klopp at Borussia Dortmund in 2012 before they reached the Champions League final the following season.

Salomon Rondon and James McClean scored the others and though Michail Antonio and Manuel Lanzini pulled two goals back in quick succession, it was too little too late. I am very pleased because I know exactly against which team we won.

“When we win we are so happy, our training sessions are better and the people laugh more but we know that still we have a lot of things to get better”.

In fact, that run turned into 11 straight wins as Barcelona recovered from their sluggish start to claim La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

“Messi is on a table on his own”, Guardiola said. But that table aside, Kevin can stay there.

“I think he’s a special player, an outstanding player”.

“(He is) aggressive without the ball but especially with the ball, it’s clear he sees absolutely everything.

“He’s there, making every decision, calling all the shots and getting a great performance out of them”, he added. “That’s why he is a player at another level”. “He is always showing us how to create space and find solutions and there is no manager like him, which makes him probably the best in the world”.

And Gundogan added: “He’s an fantastic player, I know him from my days in Germany”.
