“[The duet] is very personal for us both because, you know, we obviously have this bond that is remarkable together”, Shelton previously told Entertainment Tonight. Actually, it was the first verse and the chorus and I sent it to her just on voice memo and about two days later, she sent back the song and she had finished the song from her point of view and it was like, ‘Woah!

“I tell people all the time, ‘Gwen saved my life past year.’ She did”, Shelton tells CMT’s Katie Cook (quote via Vanity Fair).

Sporting a Nikki Lund outfit, Shelton played his guitar while Stefani donned a stunning dress that sparkled during the performance.

Stefani also shared a second shot with the “Came Here To Forget” singer, as he’s pictured grabbing her legs. “I read that we’re having twins in the latest tabloid, and I think you can fit two humans in there”, the Voice coach quipped, referring to his belly.

Amid this so-called revelation of the magazine, Gossip Cop pointed out that there is no truth to such claim between Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. Now, Blake just can’t help but gush about his girl during interviews, especially when talking about their new song together, “Go Ahead & Break My Heart”.

“We kind of did laugh a few times”, Blake told Ellen. “It just seems kind of weird”. You could call it a workplace romance, since it happened a year ago as his split from Miranda Lambert became final and her marriage to Gavin Rossdale soured.

“With this song, he was like. write the rest of it”.

Shelton said that he wrote half of the piece to impress Gwen.

“The last year of my life has been nuts, it’s been insane”, Shelton told DeGeneres of the year that has included his divorce from wife Miranda Lambert and new romance with Stefani.
