The Indo-Czech pair secure a massively easy win in the final, considering they scraped throug the opening round of the tournament which could have gone either way.
This is Sania’s third Pan Pacific Open title in four years.
This is also the doubles world No. 1 player’s eighth title win in 2016, which includes an Australian Open win with Martina Hingis, before Mirza parted ways with her.
The second set started in a more even note with the scores tied 1-1 with the second seeds’ serve coming under a little pressure. However, the pair suffered a quarterfinal exit in the US Open, going down in straight sets to Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic.
In the second set, the Chinese pair tried to bounce back but Sania-Strycova managed to hold them to bag the title.
