Sanjay Dutt to be freed from jail by March 7, 2016
An official source from Yerwada Jail just released a statement stating Sanjay will walk out a free man in first week of March since he has behaved well during his term in jail. Earlier it was reportedly said that the Munnabhai M.B.B.S actor would complete his jail tenure at the end of December this year. A top daily reported the performer is going to be freed from jail where the rule book indicates when they’ve acted well throughout their period in jail, an offender could possibly get a respite of 114 days. The Bollywood star had been out on parole on at least four occasions previously for between a fortnight to a month, drawing much public criticism for the “VIP treatment”.

The actor was jailed in the year 1996 for 18 months and then was granted a bail.
Sanjay Dutt was found guilty in 2013 for illegal possession of arms in the 1993 serial blasts case. In 2013, he was sentenced to five years imprisonment and was transferred to the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune for serving the remaining prison term of 42 months.

Turns out Bollywood’s most awaited release of 2016 will not be a film, but rather actor Sanjay Dutt’s earlier than expected discharge from prison. Recently, he was out as his daughter was to have a nose surgery.
