Santi Cazorla: Arsenal can challenge for EPL
“He is a goalscorer – he has a load of goals for Arsenal and I think he can carry that on and maybe get into the 100 club this year”.

Some thought that he would be too small and not physical enough to play as a central midfielder but he proved every critic wrong with his performances last term. “He has given us so much and a big increase in quality”.
And the Gunners duo enjoyed some well-earned downtime on Tuesday as they played some golf with their friends at Wentworth.
“He is a player that wants to better himself every day”.
He told the Arsenal website: “I’m very happy to sign a contract with the club”.
Following the recent contract extensions for both Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott, Arsene Wenger has stated that the extra time at the club that both players negotiated will only add a sense of unity to the squad and help them progress.
His incredible skill and unparalleled two-footed ability, not to mention recording a goal nearly every four games, has won over the fans’ hearts and earned him a lofty spot on their song sheet.
“I think this is the best moment in my career and the best club for me, and for the future”. Looking at his stats, assist-wise he has been among the best in the Premier League for the last four years. Santi Cazorla did not make the list because I do not see him topping last season’s mark of eight total goals. More so than winning football matches is the way things are going.
Perhaps that was on his mind when he was asked about the player who took up his shirt number after he left Arsenal, Theo Walcott.
“That is what I found the most impressive when I first arrived at the club”. When it was put to Wenger that former striker Thierry Henry said Arsenal would win the league if they signed the Real Madrid player, the manager said, “It is not as mathematical as that” but conceded a relentless scorer is “important”.

With Wenger finally breaking his duck against “The Special One”, this could be the season Arsenal finally ends its long wait for a Premier League title.
