Sarah Michelle Gellar Pays Touching Tribute to Robin Williams on the

On the one-year anniversary of his death, Sarah Michelle Gellar shared a photo of the Boston park bench that Williams sat, in an iconic scene from “Good Will Hunting“. Millions are taking to social media to remember the great entertainer.

Robins committed suicide by hanging himself in his California home on August 11, 2014. This Monday falls a day before the one-year anniversary of the celebrated actor’s death.

Sarah Michelle Gellar, who co-starred with Williams in CBS” “The insane Ones, ‘ posted a touching tribute to the late actor on Instagram.

The legendary star would have turned 64 on July 21 and had the ability to reduce his audience to tears or laughter.

“It’s a time better served away from the opinions or sentiments of others, and I appreciate your understanding”, she wrote before asking followers to be respectful to each other, “both because I will not be here to delete or mediate trolling, and because kindness is in short supply these days anyhow”.

Earlier this summer, Williams’ son Zak told People Magazine that the family tries to focus on joyful memories but “we are still grieving”, he said.

Zak teaches financial responsibility to incarcerated individuals and at-risk youths, in an effort to make the world a brighter place – just like his dad!

Shortly after his death his wife Susan Schneider revealed William’s had Parkinson’s.

USA Today reports Williams’ estate is still being settled between his children and his widow.
