In an interview aired on CBS’ the former Alaska governor also took part of the blame for Sen.

The former vice presidential contender and conservative firebrand broke her silence about her daughter Bristol’s second unwed pregnancy, telling CBS News on Sunday that she’s happy about the baby news. “Being a single mom is… oh my goodness. And I watch Bristol do double-duty all the time, you know, with her little boy, Tripp”.

While her pregnancy announcement caused a bit of an uproar at the time, Bristol told her followers in her initial post that she was trying her best to be positive.

Palin, 51, added that she’s excited for the new addition.

Sarah Palin slammed President Barack Obama’s “naiveté” for calling on states to take in Syrian refugees and said that governors who vowed to block their entry are “our last line of defense when it comes to taking in those who have not been vetted”.

Palin preached abstinence after giving birth to her first son, Tripp, while dating her high school sweetheart, Levi Johnston, in 2008. “And if the door is open, I’m built to run through it, man. Charge through it”.

She has since amended this statement to make it seem as if the pregnancy was planned. But please respect Tripp’s and my privacy during this time.
