Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump’ s campaign for president on Tuesday, offering the NY billionaire an important source of grass-roots support as his chief rival, Ted Cruz, tries to undercut his conservative credentials. Lindsey Graham – a Republican senator from SC who last month ditched his own effort to become president and has endorsed former Florida Governor Jeb Bush for the nomination – said in an interview with CNN that he liked Palin.
“I love Sarah Palin”, Cruz said outside the White Buffalo Trading Post in Barnstead, N.H., where he made a retail politics stop.

Palin’s endorsement record is mixed – but her backing of Cruz’s Senate bid was a major boost to his 2012 campaign. “She is a friend, and a high-quality person whom I have great respect for”.
She campaigned for Cruz during his Senate race in Texas, and Cruz, perhaps getting out front of the Trump endorsement, tweeted his appreciation for Palin on Tuesday.
Palin invoked one of her infamous lines from 2008 – but this time it was a reference to the establishment, not oil. “So regardless of what Sarah decides to do in 2016, I will always be a fan of Sarah Palin”.
Track Palin, 26, was arrested late on Monday night after authorities responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home in Wasilla, Alaska, police said in a statement.
She also said of her ex; ‘We are on speaking terms.
In 2009, she resigned as Alaska’s governor, and has since worked as a conservative political commentator and as the producer and star of lightly staged television shows about her large family enjoying Alaska’s rugged landscapes.
Madden also said Palin’s support could help shield Trump from charges that his past positions make him too liberal to be the GOP nominee, “giving Trump some rhetorical cover from a conservative validator in the eyes of many grassroots conservatives”.
He was being held without bail until his arraignment on three charges, police said: “assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence), interfering with a domestic violence report, and misconduct involving weapons”.

“He represented strength, he represented power”, qualities “missing” from today’s president, Trump said at the John Wayne Birthplace Museum in Winterset, Iowa, where a life-size wax figure of the actor served as a backdrop.
