Palin’s Trump nod is seen as a snub to conservative Senator Ted Cruz, who is neck and neck with Trump in Iowa and running second to him nationally. “This is going to be so much fun”.

Mentioning Palin’s record of being anti-abortion, Trump said she had a “proven record of being fiscally modest [and] staunchly pro-life”. “That’s why he’s doing so well”.
The oldest son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was arrested in a domestic violence case in which his girlfriend was afraid he would shoot himself with an AR-15 assault rifle, according to court documents filed Tuesday. “She is a friend, and a high quality person whom I have great respect for”.
“This is a woman that, from Day 1, I said, ‘If I ever do this, I have to get her support, ‘ ” Trump said.
Palin appeared alongside Trump at a raucous campaign rally, following days of speculation about the identity of a “special guest”.
The politician turned reality TV star’s endorsement comes less than two weeks before voting begins in the state, ahead of the election in November.
“I’m proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president”, Palin said in a statement provided by his campaign.
Palin, who often discusses her Christian faith, is popular among that group and endorsed Cruz when he ran for the U.S. Senate in 2012. “She can pick winners”.
Campaigning in New Hampshire, Cruz said, “Regardless of what Sarah intends to do in 2016, I will remain a big, big fan of Sarah Palin”.
Trump’s national political director Michael Glassner previously worked with Palin, who was a virtual newcomer to the national political arena when McCain named her as his running mate. Another officer found her hiding and crying underneath a bed inside the home, Kappler said.
The former Alaskan Governor still holds considerable sway with conservative voters and her speech in Ames, Iowa was classic Palin. Palin said. “You all make the world go around and now our cause is one”.
GOP consultant Kevin Madden said the endorsement’s timing will help Trump to crowd out Cruz’s message at a crucial time in the race.
As Trump fends off questions about his “New York values” from Cruz, Palin could help vouch for Trump’s credentials with skeptical conservatives.
The conservative pundit said: “Are you ready to stump for Trump?”

As Trump stood alongside, Palin said: “The status quo has got to go”, adding that the political establishment had been “wearing political correctness kind of like a suicide vest”.
