Sarah Palin’s Most Memorable Lines of Trump Endorsement Speech
Palin, who has been promoting her new book, “Sweet Freedom”, a collection of Bible meditations, came to Trump’s defense last month when his call for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States sparked a global uproar.

As Trump stood alongside, Palin said: “The status quo has got to go”, adding that the political establishment had been “wearing political correctness kind of like a suicide vest”.
Palin’s son is also in the headlines after his arrest Monday night on domestic abuse charges in Wasilla, Alaska.
Earlier Tuesday, Cruz faced another blow to his efforts in Iowa, after the state’s Republican Gov. Terry Branstad said at a renewable fuels conference near Des Moines that Iowans should reject Cruz because he supports phasing out the fuel standard.
If in Sarah Palin’s support in Iowa might bring Donald Trump a lot of advantages, it’s pretty hard to tell what impact her endorsement will have on long-terms prospects.
After that she curled up in a foetal position, she told police, because she did not know what else to do. GOP Sens. Kelly Ayotte in 2010 and Deb Fischer and Ted Cruz all carried Palin’s endorsement in the primary and all were winners.
The crowd in Ames listened to Palin warmly but was divided afterward as to how valuable she would be.
Trump’s national political director Michael Glassner previously worked with Palin, who was a newcomer to the national political arena when McCain named her as his running mate.
Palin provides Trump a key source of support in the race for the Republican nomination as chief rival Ted Cruz tries to cast him as liberal on abortion, same-sex marriage and other issues.
“Are you ready for a commander-in-chief, you ready for a commander-in-chief who will let our warriors do their job and go kick ISIS ass?” she said.
Palin’s endorsement speech combined the folksy charm and everywoman appeal that initially made her a GOP superstar with defiant taunting of a “busted” GOP establishment that she slammed for counting both Trump and herself out. But this, only time can tell, so for the moment we can only wait for the Iowa results.
“America needs help and we need a strong leader and we need someone like Mr. Trump with leadership qualities, someone with courage, someone that’s strong, like John Wayne”, she said.
Joe Brettell, a Republican strategist in Texas, said he thought Palin would not help Trump much “beyond a jolt in the news cycle”. Track Palin was arrested in a domestic violence case in which his girlfriend was afraid he would shoot himself with an AR-15 assault rifle.
But some rally-goers at Trump’s event Tuesday evening said they weren’t sure whether Palin’s support would help Trump win over voters.
