Sarah Palin will endorse Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump Tuesday at an Iowa campaign stop, according to a report by The New York Times.

“I feel honored to get Sarah’s support”, trump said in a statement: “She’s a friend and a high-profile person who I respect very”.
Palin, who resigned as governor halfway through her term in 2009, had been keeping a low-profile in the 2016 race, but retains a following, even a star quality among some conservative Republicans.
“I would not be in the U.S. Senate today if it were not for Governor Palin”, you’ve said before.
Palin will also be joining Trump at two events Wednesday, including a rally Oklahoma.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz appeals to numerous same voters, splitting the party’s far right: The sometimes-billionaire Trump has 28 percent support, just one point ahead of Cruz, according to a RealClearPolitics average of recent major Iowa polls.
The statement released by the Trump campaign on behalf of Sarah Palin reads as a ringing endorsement of the controversial businessman. “She has an eye for winners”. Palin shouted to the rabidly white audience, sucking whatever little meaning was left from the word “great”.
Last July, Trump said on the talk show “The Palin Update” that he would love to have her join his administration if he’s elected president.
Bristol, 25, said she hopes her mom will endorse Trump for president, she wrote in a blog post on Patheos.com, a religious discussion site.
At a press conference in Iowa hours before the rally, Trump declined to confirm or deny whether it was Palin.
Trump, nevertheless, has embraced Palin’s support. “So regardless of what Sarah decides to do in 2016, I will always remain a big, big fan”.
McCain and Palin lost the 2008 election to Barack Obama and Joe Biden, but by then Palin’s transformation from a little-known politician to national celebrity was complete.
“No more pussy-footing around”, Palin said, adding that Trump would allow the military do its job and destroy the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Palin’s likely endorsement will prove a boost for the property mogul in the primary states, solidifying Trump’s credentials with members of the Tea Party and evangelical Christians many of whom still revere Palin as a political messiah. Palin’s pick serves a stinging blow to Cruz, who received the backing of the 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate during his Senate campaign in 2012.
