Sarah Paulson and Marcia Clark Walk Emmys Red Carpet Together
Marcia, now 63, went glam for her rare red carpet appearance as well, sporting a black lace dress she paired with some serious bling.

Paulson seemed very grateful when she took the stage; she had been nominated for four Emmys in past years, including for her role as a set of conjoined twins on “American Horror Story: Freak Show”.
She said doing the part in American Crime Story: The People vs OJ Simpson taught her all about “the real Marcia Clark” who was the lead prosecutor on the criminal trial against Simpson.
Sarah Paulson brought Marcia Clark with her to the Emmys on Sunday.
Paulson, speaking backstage, said Clark was subject to unfair criticism for everything from her legal skills to her hair and wardrobe during the mid-1990s trial. When asked where she’d put her award, Paulson said, “I’ve had no time alone with her yet”.
The actress also gave a special mention to Holland Taylor, her significant other.
When the show started host Jimmy Kimmel dubbed Paulson the victor of tonight’s “plus-one contest”.
“I along with the rest of the world, had been superficial and careless in my judgment, and i’m here today to tell you i’m sorry”, Paulson said to Clark. This must be very odd for you: Are you rooting for OJ to win this time?’ The crowd roared but Clark and Paulson looked less than amused.

Paulson triumphed over tough competition from Kirsten Dunst (Fargo), Audra McDonald (Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill), Kerry Washington (Confirmation), Felicity Huffman (American Crime) and Lili Taylor (American Crime).
