Sarah Paulson brings Marcia Clark to tears with emotional Emmys speech
Paulson, who later got Clark’s name engraved on her Emmy statue at the Governor’s Ball afterparty, said she chose to bring Clark with her because she felt that the lawyer deserved some public redemption.

Less self-important than the Oscars and more consequential than the Golden Globes, the Primetime Emmys consistently achieve being an entertaining thing to watch while you’re waiting for the JonBenét Ramsey documentary – or, you know, whatever – to come on.
Paulson also used her stage time to publicly apologise to Marcia Clark for “superficially judging her” during the real O.J. Simpson trial.
“Still in New York”, Taylor, 73, who didn’t attend the show with her ladylove, tweeted.
Prior to this, Paulson had been 0-4 at the Emmys, memorably losing to Ellen Burstyn three years ago when Paulson was nominated for American Horror: Story: Asylum. “Now, the responsibility of playing a real person is an enormous one”.
According to Vanity Fair, Paulson said when she took on the role as the famous former prosecutor for Ryan Murphy’s anthology series The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, her goal was to not inflict undue pain on her.
“I feel a little bit of pressure”.
“If I’m late they’ll let Tom Bergeron host”, Kimmel joked. When asked where she’d put her award, Paulson said, “I’ve had no time alone with her yet”. “I want to share it with each and every one of them”. If I’m WATCHING??? YES, I’m watching-! good LORD!
Another surprise victor, Kate McKinnon, became the first “SNL” cast member to win an Emmy in the supporting actor or actress category and also happens to be the first openly lesbian cast member on the show.
She thanked a few people including her late father. There is a considerable amount of work to be done, and for now all we know is that there is likely going to be a mixture of real and fictional people among the cast of characters.
